Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the WTO Young Professionals Programme 2026, candidates must:

Be a national of a WTO member with low or no professional representation at the Secretariat

Be 32 years old or younger as of January 1, 2026
-
Hold a university degree in a relevant field (e.g., law, international relations, economics, environmental studies, trade policy)
-
Possess a minimum of 2 years’ professional experience in areas related to trade or international policy
-
Be fluent in English (fluency in French or Spanish is advantageous)
