The UN Young Professionals Program (YPP) 2025 is a gateway to a rewarding career with the United Nation, aimed at attracting talented young professionals from under-represented countries. This prestigious recruitment initiative opens the door to entry-level positions in one of the most respected global organizations, offering early-career individuals a chance to contribute meaningfully to global peace, sustainable development, and international cooperation.
Structured to foster Leadership Programs within the UN Secretariat, the YPP is not just an opportunity—it is a professional transformation. It is designed for recent graduates and emerging leaders who demonstrate academic excellence, commitment to international values, and a strong desire to promote the objectives of the United Nation.
Applicants undergo a highly competitive selection process, including a rigorous online written exam and a competency-based interview. Once selected, candidates are placed on a professional roster and may receive a two-year appointment with the potential to advance through the organization’s dynamic career path.
