Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicants must be from underrepresented or unrepresented Member States in the UN Secretariat

  • Must hold:

    • A Master’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience, or

    • A Bachelor’s degree with at least 7 years of relevant work experience

  • Demonstrated fluency in English (spoken, written, reading, and listening)

  • Professionals from all sectors, including public service, NGOs, academia, and multilateral organizations, are welcome

  • Current UN Secretariat staff are not eligible

  • Staff of other UN agencies (UNDP, UNICEF, WHO, etc.) may apply if they meet the qualifications
