Participants can choose between two dynamic categories focused on practical solar applications:
Solar Power Agriculture:
Design solar-powered systems that improve farming processes such as irrigation, harvesting, food storage, and value-added processing.
Solar Powered Microbusinesses:
Develop solutions that enable microenterprises (e.g., refrigeration, repair services, small-scale production) to operate using off-grid solar technology, particularly in underserved areas.

Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for this Competition, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Be currently enrolled university students (undergraduate or graduate level)
Be aged between 18 and 30 at the time of application
Have proficiency in English, as the competition language is English
Form a team of up to 4 members (all must be studying in the same country)
Team members may be from different academic backgrounds or institutions

Follow these steps to submit your entry for the Schneider Go Green Competition 2025:

Upload your resume as part of the profile setup.
Receive a confirmation email and link to create or join a team.
Collaborate with your teammates to develop a solar-powered innovation addressing one of the designated competition themes.
Submit a concise project proposal outlining the idea, expected impact, and implementation strategy.
Ten teams will be shortlisted to build full business cases.
From the shortlist, three teams will advance to pitch at the global virtual finals.
