The United Nations Office for Disarmament Affairs (UNODA) invites applications to the Youth Leader Fund for a World Without Nuclear Weapons 2026—a hybrid, fully funded leadership program aimed at empowering the next generation of global advocates for disarmament and peace.
This unique program combines four months of online training with a six-day in-person study tour to Japan, where participants will engage with atomic bomb survivors (hibakusha) in Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Eligibility Criteria

Must be 18 to 29 years old

Open to applicants from all academic and professional backgrounds

No prior knowledge of disarmament or nuclear policy required

Must commit 4–6 hours/week for online activities
