Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the Eisenhower Fellowships Global Program 2026, applicants must meet the following requirements:
Be between 32 and 45 years old (exceptions may be considered for outstanding candidates)
Demonstrate strong English proficiency (spoken and written)
Show proven leadership experience with clear evidence of impact in their field or community

Be emotionally and professionally prepared for a rigorous and immersive leadership journey
Hold citizenship or have resided for at least five years in the country they intend to represent
Not be residing in the United States at the time of application
For countries where EF does not currently operate, candidates must demonstrate regional influence and provide a recommendation from a current EF Fellow
Additionally, shortlisted candidates must obtain official permission from their employers to participate in the in-person U.S. portion of the program, ensuring full engagement without professional interruptions (barring personal emergencies).
