The Taiwan AID NGO Fellowship Program 2025 is now accepting applications from emerging leaders and development professionals across Asia and the Pacific. This Fully Funded Fellowship offers a unique one-month cross-cultural experience in Taipei, Taiwan, providing hands-on exposure to the operations of local Taiwanese NGOs. Designed to foster international cooperation and professional development, this program offers participants the chance to engage in leadership-building workshops, collaborative roundtable discussions, and direct NGO placements that align with their background and interests.
This opportunity is ideal for professionals aged 25 to 40 who are currently active in the nonprofit or development sectors. Whether you specialize in community development, education, human rights, or media, the Taiwan AID Fellowship will allow you to broaden your global perspective and acquire new tools for tackling development challenges in your home country.

The Taiwan AID NGO Fellowship includes a combination of structured training and practical NGO placements. Participants attend orientation workshops, engage in dialogue with Taiwanese civil society leaders, and contribute to projects based on their expertise—ranging from project management to advocacy and campaign development.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be aged 25 to 40 at the time of application
Must have a minimum of three years of experience working with an NGO or civil society organization
Professional background in one or more of the following sectors:
Community development
Environment
Education
Gender and LGBTQ+ rights
Human rights
Media and Information Technology
Medical service
Social welfare
Applicants with outstanding experience in other development-related fields are also welcome
Must demonstrate professional excellence and capacity for independent work
Strong motivation to advance in their professional and leadership goals
Fluency in written and spoken English is required; Mandarin Chinese is an asset
